  • The first 100 students will automatically become Foundation Members for the school alumni with a special 10% lifetime discount on all school tuition fees. To qualify, ONE term payment is needed in advance.
  • Enrolment Fee is waived for all students enrolling within the first year.
  • There is a 10% discount for advanced payment of the first academic year 2017/18.
  • Sibling Discount: 5% for the second child, 10% for the third and subsequent children.

School Fees

  1. A non-refundable Application Fee is required to process your child’s application before an admissions test.
  2. In order to register your child in the new academic year, you are required to pay the balance of the first term fees before the beginning of the school year.
  3. A student may not start the academic year unless the first term fees have been paid in full.
  4. The school reserves the right to withhold the term report until fees have been paid in full.
  5. The school reserves the right to withhold the final results and abstain from issuing any certificates until settlement of all school fees is made.
  6. Re-registration will not be accepted unless all fees have been paid in full.

Tuition Fee Includes

  • Two (2) school uniforms
  • One (1) school bag
  • Basic stationary and materials for classes
  • A school diary
  • Access to all core textbooks and resources
  • All core tuition and materials

Technology Fee:

Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 MYR 350 per term
Year 4, Year 5, Year 6, Year 7, Year 8 MYR 650 per term
Deposit: MYR 1,500 (Applicable for Year 4 and above)

Students in all years will have access to technology including tablets, computers and other devices.
Students in Year 4 and above will have personal access to a school device.

School Meals:

MYR 600 per term MYR 1,800 per year
Morning Snack | Heathy School Lunch | Afternoon Snack

This fee is heavily subsidised by the school in academic year 2018/2019.

Transportation Fee

English enrichment fees are charged for learners requiring an intensive supplementary programme. Eligibility will be determined as part of the admissions process.

Extracurricular Activities:

Stay and Play Kindergarten 3.20pm to 6.00pm MYR 1,200 per term
ECA Year 1 - 13 3.30pm to 4.30pm FREE (3 days per week)
ECA Year 1 - 13 4.30pm to 6.00pm MYR 1,200 per term

Additional Costs Not Covered by the Tuition Fee:

  • Educational trips.
  • Sport uniforms or others.
  • External examinations or non-compulsory testing.
  • Transportation Fee (Please request details).

Tuition Refund Policy

Notice of student withdrawal and application for a tuition refund must be made in writing to the Head of School. Tuition refunds can only be requested by and made to the parent or guardian who made payment to the school. All refunds of fees must be approved by the School Board.

Discounts and Incentives

In the event that a tuition refund is requested, Kingsgate reserves the right to rescind any discounts or incentives previously agreed to, and to calculate all tuition and fees charged for a partial term or school year at full price, with the balance refunded accordingly, upon approval.

Withdrawal Prior to Enrolment Deadline

If a parent or guardian wishes to withdraw the student from the school before the beginning of the term, the balance of tuition will be refunded, minus any application and/or enrolment fees paid. This request must be made, in writing, no later than 30 days prior to the first day of class, as determined by the school calendar published online. Requests made later than this date will result in a minimum charge of 50% of tuition and fees for one term.

Late Withdrawal

Requests for refund that are received after the enrolment deadline are considered late withdrawal. The following charges will apply:

  1. Request received after the enrolment deadline through 14 calendar days after the first day of school – 50% of all tuition and fees for one term will be charged.
  2. Request received from 15 to 28 calendar days after the first day of school – 75% of all tuition and fees for one term will be charged.
  3. Request received 29+ calendar days after the first day of school – all tuition and fees for a full term will be charged.
