Considered one of the premier experts in his profession, Greg has trained teachers and principals throughout the world in areas such as critical thinking, language development and leadership. His expertise in school start up projects, leadership and curriculum development, has made him a sought after authority in these disciplines.

Shanna Parry
Senior Managing Partner
In 2018 and 2019 Shanna was identified as top 30 in the Education category for Global Gurus among some of the worlds leading Education experts including Sir Ken Robinson, Eric Jensen, John Hattie and Robert J Marzano. Shanna continues to travel extensively to meet the demands for her consulting expertise in administrative and teacher development, curriculum writing and language programs. Shanna has consistently delivered exceptional results for increasing and improving student achievement in all key areas, including language development, reading proficiency and writing skills. In her role as Managing Partner of GSE and Director of Kingsgate International School, she plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the school as well as pioneering creative models for other international schools and providing groundbreaking training methods for directors, administrators, teachers, and students.

David John
Principal
David is from Wales and is the Principal of Kingsgate International School Malaysia.
He is a graduate of Swansea University and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in the UK. A very experienced Mathematics teacher for IGCSE and A-Levels, he is also well regarded for his ability to maximise student achievement.
In his free time, he is also a passionate golfer who also enjoys a range of other sports as well as travel

Stuart is a dynamic and energetic teacher with excellent skills in language acquisition. In his spare time he enjoys cooking and exploring the sights of Malaysia.

Kirsty Jeacocks

Kirsty is a graduate from the University of South Africa. Having studied a PGCE in Foundation Phase Education, her speciality and passion lies with younger students.
She has spent the last four years teaching in China where she worked with students from Early Years to Year 3.Her time in China has given her invaluable experience.
Her goal is to create a safe and secure learning environment for children which will enable them to be themselves and develop their potential and own learning styles. She enjoys the outdoors and cannot wait to see the nature that Malaysia has to offer.

She is a strong believer that the first few years of a child’s life are highly formative and influential and therefore, adopts a nurturing and encouraging approach to child guidance with a penchant for hands-on learning with the children in school.

Jessica graduated from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Early Years Education. She has been involved with Early Years education for the past 9 years.
She has a true passion for working with our youngest learners and thrives on helping each child progress in all areas of their development — academic, social, language, arts, crafts, and motor skills. She strives to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive and fun environment. A proponent of growth mindset, Jessica hopes to be a positive influence for young minds so that they grow to become respectful, selfless, kind, and successful people.
On the personal side, she has a keen interest in traveling, reading books and listening to music.



Robyn Pickles

Robyn has a strong interest in teaching children with English as an additional language and how to best support their development. In her spare time she loves to travel and explore Malaysia.

Iain Humphrey

Mr Humphrey graduated from the University of Bath and gained his teaching qualification from the University of Nottingham. He taught in the UK for 8 years after that before spending the last 5 years of his teaching career here in Malaysia.
He is a staunch advocate of the importance of pastoral care within a child’s learning which has really driven his own teaching values and has become his passion.
On the personal side, he is a big health and a sports fanatic and used to be a full-time athlete. He competed in the sport of Bob Skeleton and was extremely dedicated to his sport. He was ranked 5th in the country in his sport and competed around the world for Great Britain.

Addison Bunch

Ms. Bunch is a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a masters in reading intervention. Her global mindset drives her skills of differentiation and passion for creating individualised learning for all.
She has taught in a village in Uganda and science lessons to children in Cambodia. Furthermore, Ms. Bunch has five years of experience teaching children of all ages and has led data-driven instruction to instill adequate growth for all learners.
She enjoys meeting the needs of children holistically and implementing each child’s interests throughout her lessons. Ms. Bunch is thrilled at the opportunity to work within an innovative environment at Kingsgate International School.

Greg Woloszyn

Greg is a graduate from the University of Alberta, Canada with a bachelor’s Degree in Education. After graduating he moved to England to teach primary school and then moved to Vietnam to continue his career. He believes in a student centered approach where each child is engaged, can take risks and develops a love for learning.
Greg has a background in physical education and enjoys playing football, running and spending time outdoors, which he hopes to bring to Kingsgate International School.

Jasinta Christofi

Jasinta is a graduate of the University of Pretoria, South Africa, who holds a BA in Drama and a PGCE in Education. She grew up in the small mining town called Phalaborwa and later moved to Johannesburg where she has been teaching at a Cambridge school for the last thirteen years.
Jasinta has a deep love of performing, singing and teaching. She firmly believes in developing the child as a whole and building their confidence to achieve their utmost potential. She is passionate about allowing children to express themselves through cultural activities and hopes to encourage each child to see the shining star within themselves.
This will be Jasinta’s first time travelling abroad to teach and she is extremely excited to begin her international teaching career at Kingsgate.

Terry Barrett
Secondary School Teacher

Terry studied at the University of Essex, University of Keele and University of Reading in the UK. He is an extremely qualified teacher in Mathematics with a BA Degree in mathematics, Postgraduate Diploma in Sociology and PGCE in secondary mathematics. His extensive teaching experience in various parts of the world includes working with all Cambridge secondary maths courses and other widely recognised international programmes.
In his teaching, Terry endeavours to instill an in-depth understanding of mathematical principles and develop higher-order problem solving skills. Meanwhile, outside of school, he likes hiking and travelling.
Terry is enthusiastic to be part of a growing and evolving school like Kingsgate.


Aileen Murphy
Secondary School Teacher

Aileen is a graduate of The University of Bristol and London South Bank University in the UK. She has a BA in journalism and a PGCE in secondary English. Aileen has extensive experience teaching at secondary schools across the UK and Vietnam.
As an English teacher, she feels passionate about inspiring students to read for pleasure and to enjoy learning. Outside of the classroom, she has a keen interest in drawing, yoga and travel. Aileen is very excited to begin teaching at Kingsgate and is looking forward to sharing her love of literature with her students.

Ian Martin
Secondary School Teacher

Ian is from Northern Ireland in the UK and is passionate about the learning of different cultures and languages. He obtained his BSc (honours) degree in Science and Education from the Ulster university in Northern Ireland, where he also taught for six years before venturing overseas.
He is a globe-trotting educator and has taught in international schools in Botswana, Seychelles, Malaysia, Egypt, Indonesia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam. Outside the classroom he enjoys playing golf, experiencing the environment and traditional Scottish and Irish music.


John Lamont
Music & Drama Teacher

John is a graduate of The University of Wales Trinity St David. Studying a BA in Acting, he has extensive knowledge of Drama as well as a passion for music and musical theatre. Additionally, he is an experienced Jiu-Jitsu instructor with nearly 15 years of experience. With a passion for teaching, John is very excited to work at Kingsgate and is eager to establish a school choir and Jiu-Jitsu club.
